Daniel G. Herrera, MD, PhD

Daniel G. Herrera is a board-certified psychiatrist with over three decades of experience. He received his MD from the University of Buenos Aires and his PhD from McGill University. His training includes a medical internship at Yale-New Haven Medical Center and dual residencies in psychiatry and neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Before establishing Texas Neuropsychiatry, Dr. Herrera held academic positions at Cornell University, Harvard University, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and was also affiliated with Cambridge Health Alliance. Recognized globally in his field, his scholarly publications have been cited over 8,000 times.

Beyond his private practice, Dr. Herrera also works as an attending physician at Palms Behavioral Health and DHR Health. His clinical expertise spans all ages, from children to the elderly, and encompasses various psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders.
